Airport

There is not an airport in York itself but there are three international airports that are close by, Leeds Bradford (30 miles), Humberside (48 miles) and Manchester (84 miles). There is a train service that connects York with Manchester Airport and there is an hourly bus service that connects to Leeds Bradford Airport.

Train Station

York is a main hub station making it an ideal place to explore via train or access by train, the station is in the town centre within easy walking distance of most accommodation and amenities. From here you can be in Edinburgh or London in 2hrs 30min and under 2hrs respectively. Due to the high number of trains passing through you will find trains run frequently every 30 mins or hour to the main towns and cities in England with direct services available to the likes of Manchester, Birmingham and Liverpool.

Bus Service

The bus station is in the town centre and York is serviced by the National Express bus network, full times and routes can be found on there website at www.nationalexpress.com.
